Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR requirements.
Salary: $109,000β$152,000 annually, plus potential stock options.

What you will do
- Partner with design and manufacturing teams to create test, manufacturability, and inspection plans for spacecraft hardware.
- Contain non-conforming products and guide inspectors, technicians, supervisors, and engineers.
- Lead production, test, and operational failure investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Review hardware during design reviews and acceptance and qualification test campaigns.
- Perform FMEAs, build requirements compliance tools, and ensure test coverage, change management, and manufacturability.
- Own vehicle-level regulatory deliverables and support mission assurance risk management and mitigation tracking.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in aerospace, design, quality, or a related engineering role.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, computer science, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, materials science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with hardware testing, qualification, troubleshooting, or failure analysis.
- Experience applying process controls in high-volume manufacturing, testing, or quality environments.
- Experience generating, processing, or analyzing production data.
- U.S. work authorization and U.S. person status required for access to export-controlled technology.
Nice to have
- Full project lifecycle ownership experience.
- Experience with measurement systems analysis, design of experiments, statistical process control, root cause analysis and corrective action, APQP, metrology, PFMEA, and control plans.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining, additive manufacturing, casting, welding, fastening, or other special manufacturing processes.
