hirify.global develops Terran R, a launch vehicle designed to deliver customer payloads to orbit, along with the rocket, factory, and production systems required to operate the program.

What you will do

  • Own reliability and quality activities across vehicle design, planning, manufacturing, and program execution.
  • Standardize drawings, support design for manufacturability, and manage configuration control.
  • Review work instructions and develop processes, rework and repair documentation, and walk-down checklists.
  • Perform in-process build verification, coordinate traveled work, and support as-built verification.
  • Manage nonconformance, root-cause, and corrective-action processes and support quality inspection automation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams to improve first-time quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or another STEM field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing company.
  • Extensive experience working with design engineering, manufacturing, production, and test personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, complex assembly practices, and quality processes and controls.
  • Working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP, and QMS software, plus proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to solve complex cross-functional problems, establish project goals, and communicate effectively with technical and management stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, SPC, and PPV.
  • Successful hardware-system NPI experience across manufacturing, test, and production.
  • Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 practices for aerospace programs.
  • Experience defining and implementing processes from scratch across diverse teams.
