Salary: $104,000–$156,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Own reliability and quality activities across design, planning, manufacturing, and program execution.
  • Standardize drawings, support design for manufacturability, and manage configuration control.
  • Review work instructions and develop process, rework, and repair documentation.
  • Perform in-process build verification and coordinate travelled work.
  • Manage nonconformance processes, as-built verification, and root-cause and corrective-action activities.
  • Develop specifications, inspection checklists, quality automation initiatives, and DFM practices while collaborating with engineering, additive, manufacturing, test, and launch teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or another STEM field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with design engineering, manufacturing, production, and test personnel.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, complex assembly practices, and quality processes and controls.
  • Working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP, and QMS software, plus proficiency in GD&T.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, coordinate across teams, establish project objectives, and communicate with technical and management stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, SPC, and PPV.
  • Successful hardware NPI experience across manufacturing, test, and production systems.
  • Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 practices for aerospace programs.
  • Experience defining and deploying processes from scratch across diverse teams.
