Senior Claims Representative Bodily Injury-Remote (Insurance)

Location: Texas, USA; the role is described as hybrid out of the Richfield, Ohio office, with on-site work expected four days per week and one remote day.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of bodily injury and property and casualty claims.
• Investigate claims to confirm coverage, liability, compensability, and damages.
• Determine reserves and negotiate settlements within assigned authority.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.
• Communicate coverage and settlement information to insureds, claimants, and external partners.
• Authorize timely payments and maintain complete claim documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management and insurance, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of property and casualty claims-handling experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, claims procedures, industry laws, and regulations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a caseload, resolve claims on time, and handle confidential information discreetly.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Completion of or progress toward the Associate in Claims designation or a similar professional designation.
