Production Assembler (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Assemble microjet and turbofan engine components according to engineering drawings, technical instructions, and production schedules.
• Perform precision alignment, fitment, torque-controlled fastening, calibration, and fine mechanical adjustments.
• Handle delicate components carefully and conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
• Maintain high assembly quality, improve first-pass yield, and minimise rework and scrap.
• Record assembly data, inspection results, deviations, and non-conformance reports in production systems.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical and process issues.

Requirements

• Diploma, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or industrial assembly.
• Experience in industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, or precision assembly environments.
• Hands-on experience with electronic and fine mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards and electronic workmanship requirements.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO quality standards, and controlled manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and engineering documentation.
