Assembly Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Full-time onsite in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, United States. First shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Second shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

What you will do

• Install and assemble components, sub-assemblies, and hardware using written and electronic drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of components, hardware, and department supplies.
• Organize the assembly area and maintain assembly equipment and tooling.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of assembly processes and documentation.
• Communicate with management, team leads, operators, quality personnel, and other shop staff to resolve quality issues.
• Complete reports and related paperwork accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• At least one year of manufacturing experience, including assembly-line or similar experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions.
• Competence in in-process inspection and basic mathematics.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Timely communication, self-motivation, integrity, a positive attitude, and commitment to safety.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
