What you will do
- Build and precisely assemble Stage 2 rocket engines and related sub-assemblies.
- Work independently and alongside engineers to complete engine assembly.
- Provide design feedback and maintain accurate build notes for future reference.
- Identify and solve manufacturing and assembly issues with machinists, welders, and engineers.
- Maintain an efficient work area and provide feedback on layout, tooling, and local inventory storage.
Requirements
- Previous experience with a variety of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to stay focused, move quickly, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
- Resourcefulness and effective communication when resolving technical issues.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable ITAR access requirements.
- Employment requires completion of U.S. employment eligibility verification and authorization to access export-controlled technical data as necessary.
