Multi Line Adjuster Trainee (Insurance)

Location: Must reside in New York City, NY; the role may involve remote or field work and includes three weeks of required hands-on training at a facility in Ashburn, Virginia.

Salary: $29.00–$45.28 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect damage involving boats, motorcycles, RVs, and other specialty vehicles or property.
• Estimate repair costs using adjusting tools and technology.
• Negotiate settlements and issue claim payments.
• Provide customer service after accidents or major disasters.
• Work in repair shops, salvage yards, customer homes, field locations, and virtual estimating environments.
• Complete paid hands-on training in physical damage adjusting.

Requirements

• Must reside in New York City, NY.
• Valid driver's license meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Willingness to work remotely or in the field as required by the position.
• Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, multitasking, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or current college enrollment is preferred.
