What you will do
- Own a caseload of litigated auto liability and bodily injury claims from assignment through resolution.
- Develop litigation and negotiation strategies by analyzing complaints, case facts, and claims exposure.
- Collaborate with defense counsel and claims management on strategic planning and case developments.
- Prepare for and attend mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Apply multi-state statutory knowledge, specifically Florida's insurance code and PIP statute.
- Mentor junior adjusters through file reviews, coverage questions, and complex claim coaching.
Requirements
- 8+ years of auto claims adjusting experience.
- 3+ years of auto injury claims and litigation experience.
- Extensive experience handling claims in Florida, including the state insurance code, PIP statute, and bad faith framework.
- Active adjuster license in good standing.
- Must reside and work full-time in one of the 40 listed US states.
- Proven ability to memorialize case activity in writing and mentor junior staff.
