Medical Call Center Representative (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States. Coverage is provided through one of three shifts: 6:00 am–3:00 pm, 7:30 am–4:30 pm, or 9:00 am–6:00 pm.

Hourly base pay: $28.10–$30.90, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award.

What you will do

• Answer external telephone inquiries about hirify.global products using standard procedures and product references.
• Clarify requests, provide accurate information, and escalate complex inquiries to subject matter experts.
• Document inquiries and maintain the contact database.
• Greet visitors, determine the purpose of visits, provide information, and issue visitor badges in accordance with security procedures.
• Support reception and office administration, including mail distribution, deliveries, files, office supplies, correspondence, and routine reports.
• Assist with the collection of COVID-19 and other testing swabs as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of receptionist or call center experience.
• General knowledge of medical and/or pharmaceutical terminology.
• Exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work on-site in El Segundo and cover one of the designated shifts between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Nice to have

• Experience in a medical or medical insurance office, pharmacy, or health science environment.
• Medical Assistant certification or pharmaceutical technician experience.
