Senior Solutions Engineer (Networking and Security)

Location: Hybrid, Madrid, Spain; the role requires up to 50% travel for customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and collaboration with colleagues.

Salary: €90,000–€124,000 annual salary for Spain-based hires, including on-target incentive compensation. The role is also eligible for equity participation.

What you will do

• Map customer initiatives, requirements, and business problems to hirify.global solutions.
• Partner with sales teams to support enterprise opportunities and build technical relationships and champions within customer accounts.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations for stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials for prospects and customers.
• Create professional technical content, including white papers, blog posts, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Represent hirify.global at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity, and industry events while advising on best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or in another customer-facing technical role involving CDN, security, networking, or SaaS.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Curiosity, drive, teamwork, and a sense of urgency.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of customer network and application architectures, including hybrid Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
• Experience with application and network security, VPN and remote access, SaaS environments, SIEM, or log analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of routing, subnetting, split tunnels, SD-WAN, local Internet breakout, and end-user or application security risks.
• Experience communicating network and security transformation to senior executives.
• Knowledge of CDN providers and Internet security technologies.
