HRSG Service Engineer

Location: Cairo, Egypt; frequent travel and on-site work under challenging conditions may be required.

What you will do

• Lead NDT inspectors during on-site HRSG inspections.
• Supervise subcontractors performing borescope, metallographic, and thermographic inspections.
• Plan resources, training, and skill management for service activities.
• Coordinate technical problem-solving with the engineering back office in Germany.
• Manage outage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost controls.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer technical requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience with HRSG, including borescope inspection and non-destructive testing.
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings and understand international codes.
• Fluent English in verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in challenging conditions.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal communication, HSE, and quality orientation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German.
