Maintenance Engineer (Mechatronics)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; the role is based in Saudi Arabia and supports factory operations.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for press machines, CNC and laser cutting machines, drilling units, tube mills, slitting lines, and related automation systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults across factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, control systems, drives, motors, sensors, and automation panels to maximize uptime and reduce breakdowns.
• Develop maintenance schedules, monitor vibration, temperature, lubrication, and energy consumption, and maintain equipment history and reports.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and implement machinery modifications, automation upgrades, and reliability improvements.
• Supervise technicians, apprentices, contractors, spare-parts activities, and coordination with production, quality, OEMs, and suppliers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial or factory maintenance.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting press machines, CNC, laser, drilling, tube mill, and slitting-line equipment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair, preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies, and CMMS or maintenance reporting tools.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ISO safety standards, energy management, TPM, and 5S initiatives.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing recurring failures and implementing corrective actions through root cause analysis.
• Availability for night shifts and emergency call-outs.
