Field Service Engineer

hirify.global provides medical devices and solutions for hospitals and life science institutions, including sterile reprocessing and endoscope reprocessing.

What you will do

• Perform routine testing and mechanical servicing of hirify.global equipment to relevant standards.
• Carry out electrical/mechanical fault finding and calibration, and report faulty or out-of-calibration equipment.
• Maintain spare parts stock levels to support timely call-outs.
• Produce quality service documentation and accurate written/electronic reports, including validation reports within specified time frames.
• Manage a continuously changing workload by prioritizing customer calls and enquiries and maintaining regular communication with internal service and technical departments.
• Provide sales leads to relevant Service/Sales Managers and assist team members as needed.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience of field-based work is highly desired.
• Experience in a maintenance environment is desired, ideally in medical, pharmaceutical, or other process industries.
• Knowledge and experience servicing/testing medical devices to appropriate standards is desired.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office; experience using CRM systems such as GForce.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home where necessary (up to 80%).
