What you will do
- Develop equipment specifications, heat and mass balances, process calculations, and mechanical layouts.
- Coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary project teams during conceptual design and estimation.
- Troubleshoot assigned projects and perform root cause failure analysis.
- Maintain and improve engineering calculation tools and document templates.
- Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting safety, reliability, and business objectives.
Requirements
- 5β10 years of experience as a mechanical or process engineer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with project teams and clients.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing startup environment.
- Experience coordinating multiple disciplines on large industrial capital projects is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with power plant studies, estimates, and detailed EPC design.
- Proficiency in creating and using P&IDs.
- Experience with boilers, steam turbines, boiler feedwater treatment, condensers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, tanks, compressed air systems, pipes, valves, and other balance-of-plant equipment.
