Business Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: San Diego, CA, US. May require occasional travel depending on business needs. Access to controlled technology requires legal authorization under United States export regulations.

Salary: $70,875–$106,313 base annual salary

What you will do

• Build make-and-buy material plans supporting factory output, suppliers, and customer commitments.
• Create demand and supply views across short- and long-term planning horizons.
• Monitor plan execution and drive actions to close supply and demand gaps.
• Guide capacity investment scenarios using data, risks, and business priorities.
• Manage inventory strategies to reduce excess, obsolescence, and supply risk.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate planning risks and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, business planning, production planning, or materials planning.
• Experience in a fast-paced, global, or complex manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, and demand and supply processes.
• Experience with sales and operations planning, master production scheduling, or supplier material planning.
• Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI, or similar platforms.
