Professional Land Surveyor (California)

Location: Westminster, California, US; hybrid work with required residence in California

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 annually

What you will do

• Advise on survey strategies for major infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve legal boundary determinations and complex survey documents.
• Support the resolution of disputes and regulatory issues.
• Develop surveying standards, templates, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide quality assurance, statutory and legal interpretation, and scope development.
• Mentor Land Survey Specialists and provide technical guidance across functions.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience performing complex survey analysis and preparing legal documentation.
• Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of standards and compliance.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Professional Land Surveyor license in California is preferred.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.

Nice to have

• Ten or more years of progressively responsible professional land surveying experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of California.
