Project Civil Engineer - Land Development

Location: Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, USA

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.

What you will do

• Develop subdivision and land development plans for institutional, commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Design site grading, utilities, stormwater management systems, erosion and sedimentation controls, and best management practices using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare vertical and horizontal roadway designs and project details.
• Perform construction inspections and field testing.
• Manage project budgets, hours, timelines, and client status reporting.
• Support business development through scope development, fee estimation, and proposal generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, HydroCAD, GIS, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance, and engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
