Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert

hirify.global is supporting an AI-focused project involving federal and military-style reporting.

What you will do

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop accurate content that follows federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using defined grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, reporting guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.

Requirements

• US-based availability and experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.
• 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably within the Department of Defense.
• Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Background with one or more branches of the US military.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
