What you will do

• Develop and maintain datasheets, product manuals, user guides, installation instructions, and white papers.
• Collaborate with product development and application engineers to translate technical designs and specifications into clear content.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test data for written materials.
• Maintain document version control, templates, and style consistency across the portfolio.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) processes to deliver documentation according to engineering milestones.
• Evaluate and implement new authoring tools and AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience writing documentation for electrical power systems, electrical safety products, or electronics systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365, Adobe FrameMaker or similar PDF authoring tools.
• Strong command of technical writing fundamentals, including clarity, structure, and audience awareness.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging generative AI writing assistants or workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
• Prior experience supporting NPI processes in a hardware or embedded systems environment.
