What you will do

  • Serve as the field-based medical expert for the bone health territory within the US Medical Organization.
  • Communicate clinical, scientific, outcomes, and economic data to healthcare stakeholders, payers, providers, advocacy groups, and access enablers.
  • Develop and execute local Scientific Engagement Plans and opinion-leader engagement tactics.
  • Support sponsored research, investigator-initiated research proposals, and clinical study activities.
  • Lead or contribute to project teams, congress activities, speaker training, and cross-functional medical strategies.
  • Provide field insights on customer trends, reimbursement, payer policy, and the use of value evidence to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
  • Experience communicating clinical and scientific information to medical and healthcare audiences.
  • Experience with clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
  • Professional expertise in a medically related field and the ability to maintain clinical acumen.
  • Ability to work across the assigned Texas territory, including Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and surrounding areas.
  • Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed.

Nice to have

  • Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
  • At least two years of scientific or medical affairs experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
  • Managed market, payer, or IDN engagement experience.
  • At least two years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, post-doctoral training, residency, or fellowship work.
  • Osteoporosis and bone health therapeutic-area expertise.
