Medical Science Liaison (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Build engagement and medical account plans with field partners and cross-functional teams.
• Develop peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, organizations, decision-makers, and clinical investigators.
• Present scientific information on disease states and treatment landscapes, including the benefits, risks, appropriate use, and clinical value of products.
• Prepare external experts and key decision-makers for upcoming first-in-class and best-in-class launches.
• Gather clinical insights and respond to unsolicited medical information requests in compliance with company standards.
• Document field interactions, insights, account plans, training, and development activities in CRM tools.

Requirements

• Must reside in the assigned territory.
• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field, such as MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, MS, or an equivalent clinical advanced degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a field medical or MSL role in the pharmaceutical industry, or demonstrated clinical experience in hemophilia or a related hematology area.
• Knowledge of clinical research, scientific leadership, medical teaching, healthcare policies, healthcare strategy, and the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management, communication, scientific communication, strategic thinking, and influencing skills.
• Ability to use CRM data and insights, digital engagement platforms, and the Scientific Engagement Model.

Nice to have

• Prior MSL experience.
• Experience in hemophilia, hematology, or rare blood disorders.
• Experience working with healthcare systems, payers, KOLs, and clinical investigators.
