Salary: $109,500–$208,500 per year

What you will do

• Identify strategic opportunities to optimize cloud costs, usage, and value across multiple business units.
• Analyze cloud operations, consumption, spending trends, and business processes through a FinOps lens.
• Partner with Finance, Cloud, Technology, engineering, and architecture stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, cost allocation, and spend transparency.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and translate complex data into business recommendations, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate cloud spend outcomes, and help resolve cross-functional issues.
• Ensure accurate cloud spend data, forecasts, business justifications, and implementation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years in Finance, Economics, or Information Technology.
• Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, allocation, and optimization in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience with data analytics and statistical analytics.
• Understanding of cloud services, consumption models, and financial drivers influencing cloud spend, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Jira, MS Excel, Power BI, or SAP R2R.

Nice to have

• FinOps certification or demonstrated experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, or cloud economics.
• Cloud cost management experience.
