What you will do

• Develop and optimize electroplating processes and electrochemical systems to improve coating quality, performance, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Design, formulate, and characterize polymer-based materials, coatings, and surface treatments for advanced technology applications.
• Lead process development, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and chemical process innovation with cross-functional teams.
• Design experiments, collect and analyze data, and compile reports on semiconductor integration chemistries.
• Identify new chemical processes using test vehicle equipment and lead the design of that equipment.
• Transfer chemical processes to product groups, support customers in understanding chemical processes, and mentor junior chemists.

Requirements

• Expertise in a specialized chemistry or materials science discipline, including polymer materials and plating.
• Experience interpreting technical and business challenges and recommending improvements to products, processes, or services.
• Ability to solve complex problems, exercise technical judgment, and identify innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, United States.
