Process Engineer III (Semiconductor)

Location: Chaska, United States. The position requires an extended assignment to Taiwan and remote work from that facility.

Salary: $101,145.98–$142,938.19 per year.

What you will do

• Develop new or modified process formulations and define processing, handling equipment, and specification requirements.
• Use process physics and mechanisms to achieve equipment and process goals.
• Design and execute process optimization experiments, characterize results, and analyze test data.
• Perform hands-on laboratory work on equipment and ensure quality execution of experiments, material processing, and customer demonstrations.
• Collaborate with customer engineers, managers, product teams, sales, marketing, and internal business units on integration activities and equipment improvements.
• Present experimental findings and support troubleshooting of field issues related to tool performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of professional engineering experience, or a preferred master’s degree with 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment or similar fully automated capital equipment.
• Experience with gas-cluster beam, ion implantation, or etch technology is beneficial.
• Proven application of lean principles and formal problem-solving techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, management, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Ability to speak Mandarin.
