Program Safety Senior Advisor - Westminster

Location: Westminster, California, US; hybrid work with required residence and employment in California. The role requires reporting to an SCE facility on set days, with remote work on the remaining days. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $143,900–$215,800 per year

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and mature enterprise-wide safety programs and initiatives, including Safety Observations and Driver Safety.
• Coordinate with technical experts and influence safety practices, policies, and strategic decisions across internal and external partners.
• Analyze complex safety and compliance problems and develop practical solutions where no precedent exists.
• Establish project objectives, timelines, milestones, risk analyses, deliverables, and budgets while driving issue resolution.
• Present recommendations, briefings, project plans, and reports to company leadership and executive forums.
• Conduct advanced safety training and presentations and participate in the Incident Management Team during emergencies, including periodic on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of experience in health, safety, or compliance programs, activities, or systems.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, including compliance interpretation and practical application.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and navigating competing priorities.
• Experience in safety, utility operations, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
• Ability to work and reside in California and report to the Westminster facility on scheduled days.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and managing enterprise-wide driver or safety programs.
• Experience preparing and communicating briefings, policy options, and project plans for company leadership.
• Experience with AI technology and tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
