Salary: $200,000 – $220,000 annually

What you will do

• Advise the Federal Program Office (FPO) on the execution of cost, scope, and schedule for major system acquisitions.
• Apply systems engineering principles to develop and maintain an integrated program baseline.
• Analyze, evaluate, and integrate solutions for unusually complex and diverse technical problems.
• Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks and issues related to product and system performance.
• Coordinate program integration and liaison with Defense Programs (DP), NNSA, and DOD organizations.
• Lead assessments of the NNSA weapons production complex capability and capacity for the W87-1 Program.

Requirements

• Active Q or Top Secret security clearance.
• 10 or more years of project/program management experience managing nuclear weapon system sustainment or acquisition.
• Must be able to work on-site at the NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science.
• Deep knowledge of nuclear weapon systems and the 6.X process.
• Proven experience collaborating with NNSA and Department of Defense interagency teams.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering or science.
• Manufacturing and production floor experience in NNSA, military, or government environments.
• Experience in planning and executing system-level mechanical and electrical tests for nuclear weapons systems.
• Experience in system qualification and requirements verification.
