Process Engineer II (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; travel required 25% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $100,000–$136,500 per year, with potential bonus and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Manage installed-base and new-product application performance to support customer satisfaction and identify business risks.
• Define and implement processes and applications that meet customer productivity and technology requirements.
• Manage customer-site process roadmaps and present technology and product roadmaps internally and externally.
• Define process support plans for installations and warranty periods, and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Own tool utilization, new system evaluations, process installations, and qualification of new technologies.
• Support and train local service resources during installation and warranty activities.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices, market competition, and how the discipline integrates with other areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time and work in the Santa Clara, CA location.
