SMTS, Field Application Engineering (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, United States; travel to customers and hirify.global fabs in the USA, Europe, and Asia required.

Salary: $122,000–$198,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide ongoing technical support to hirify.global customers and serve as their primary technical interface.
• Develop customized technical presentations and proposals for evaluating semiconductor foundry solutions.
• Lead technology demonstrations and drive design-win acquisition strategies and processes.
• Translate customer requirements into compelling hirify.global design solutions and value propositions.
• Identify product and service gaps, coordinate internal technical experts, and resolve obstacles affecting design-ins and design wins.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, product marketing, design solutions, and technology development teams while providing customer and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor IC design, system design, semiconductor IC testing, or system testing.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% and visit customers and hirify.global fabs in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, interpersonal, influencing, and sales aptitude skills.
• Experience with advanced-node semiconductor technologies, devices, design rules, enablement flows, and related tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Power and silicon photonics experience.
