Project Manager – New Development

Location: Tulare, California, US; hybrid work with required attendance at an SCE facility and residence in California. The position requires up to 35% travel throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $143,900–$215,800 annually

What you will do

• Manage residential and commercial new business development projects from initiation through close.
• Direct project scope, schedules, budgets, execution, control, and closure.
• Plan and execute electric transmission and distribution projects involving wildfire mitigation, infrastructure replacement, load growth, poles, line upgrades, maintenance, and installations.
• Drive milestones and reporting for medium to large projects, including designs, applications, compliance and safety documentation, regulatory filings, and agency coordination.
• Perform power flow and fault analysis studies to determine transmission-line system impacts and requirements.
• Advance development plans, work packages, testing procedures, and energization sequences while coordinating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of project management experience.
• Experience delivering scope, schedule, and budget commitments across the full project lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project construction management, or a related field; PMP credential is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple high-impact projects, risks, resources, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Strong business analytics, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, leadership, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience using Design Manager, Click, and SAP.
