Associate, Strategic Finance (FP&A;)

Location: Fully remote for candidates residing in Dallas, Texas, United States; future work models may include hybrid presence at the associated metro hub office.

Salary: $96,876–$127,149 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop data-driven recommendations for senior executives on pricing, growth, and bottom-line performance.
• Build financial models and analytical tooling, including scenario modeling and competitive intelligence analysis.
• Partner with Actuarial, Regional Leadership, Plan Design, and Sales teams on portfolio strategy across Oscar markets.
• Research profitability trade-offs, market trends, membership insights, and ACA selling-season metrics.
• Analyze data and report intra-year membership and business performance insights to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and support other strategic finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of finance experience, including experience in healthcare, consulting, insurance, or financial services.
• 2+ years of experience using Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides or Microsoft products.
• 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives.
• Must reside in Dallas, Texas, United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• MBA in Finance or a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis.
• Experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance.
• Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery for analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive.
