Associate, Process Optimization (Health Insurance): Designing and implementing optimized operational processes for the Eligibility and Billing team with an accent on cross-functional project management, workflow improvement, and data analysis. Location: Remote for candidates residing in Dallas, Texas, United States; future work models may involve hybrid presence at the associated metro-area hub office.

Salary: $87,188–$114,434 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end cross-functional implementations and projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, edge-case mitigation, and on-time delivery.
  • Design, optimize, and implement operational processes, workflows, and supporting procedures.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret departmental data and metrics, and help develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop implementation, communication, program, change-management, and risk-mitigation strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, project decisions, governance, and project plans across concurrent initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and support professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, and/or consulting.
  • 2+ years of experience using Excel, SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools.
  • 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and improving workflows and establishing operating and technical procedures.
  • 2+ years of experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints process-improvement methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
  • Working knowledge of Enrollment and Billing.
