TL;DR
Business Process Improvement, Senior Advisor (Operational Excellence): Leading inspections-focused projects and digital transformation of end-to-end work management processes with an accent on Lean Six Sigma, Agile, compliance, and data quality. Focus on designing KPIs, managing the Inspections ERCP portfolio, supporting audits, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across regulated operations.

Location: Pomona, California, US; hybrid work with required reporting to an SCE facility, and employees generally must work and reside in California. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $161,700–$242,600 per year

What you will do

  • Lead projects by defining scope, budgets, timelines, teams, assignments, resources, and risks.
  • Develop best practices, policies, and strategic plans for digital transformation of end-to-end work management processes.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and project management principles to streamline processes and launch new initiatives.
  • Manage business records, the Inspections ERCP portfolio, and resources supporting process optimization and data quality.
  • Design KPIs, conduct operational analyses, and prepare reports supporting business operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate ASD and QA/QC audits, regulatory reviews, data requests, and collaboration with senior leaders, internal teams, and external partners.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously and developing or implementing compliance programs.
  • Ability to make sound decisions independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and GIS applications.
  • Knowledge of inspections operations, T&D E1 Notification lifecycle management, remediation criteria, and CPUC General Orders 95, 128, and 165.
  • Experience with inspection and field management applications, SAP, SAS, audits, regulatory reviews, and large-dataset analysis.
