TL;DR

Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPR): Analyzing and redesigning business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs with an accent on BPMN, Lean, and Six Sigma. Focus on developing AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, conducting stakeholder workshops, and implementing automation initiatives.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote, but blocks foreign IP addresses and requires quarterly travel to an office)

What you will do

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and support BPR initiatives, aligning IT solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) process maps and documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and improvement ideas.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitor post-implementation performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 6+ years of experience in business process improvement, process reengineering, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of process mapping and modeling methodologies such as BPMN, Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools like Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, or Bizagi.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt), or Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Experience working with ERP or workflow automation systems.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Experience in digital transformation or operational excellence programs.
