Business Operations Analysis, Senior Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Pomona, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The role requires reporting to an SCE facility for set days and working remotely on the remaining days.

Salary: $114,400–$171,600 annually

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and visualize data to produce actionable business insights and performance metrics.
• Develop, automate, and track key metrics, KPI dashboards, and reporting for major programs and initiatives.
• Prepare business intelligence reports, including complex, high-visibility, and audit-related analyses.
• Monitor project and program documentation, costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review.
• Coordinate research and provide timely information to support organizational priorities and decision-making.
• Improve departmental processes and maintain systems and tools for workflow, records management, and communications.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in business operations analysis.
• Experience with two or more Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI.
• Experience with enterprise data analytics, geospatial intelligence, or decision-support platforms such as ArcGIS or Palantir Foundry.
• Experience using SQL, Python, SAS, or similar technologies for reporting, forecasting, automation, application development, or operational decision-making.
• Experience developing or supporting business applications, workflows, and system integrations.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted; the role is NERC/CIP impacted and requires a Personnel Risk Assessment or background investigation before hiring.

• Experience supporting engineering, grid planning, asset management, or regulatory compliance programs.
