IT Infrastructure Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, USA; applicants must reside in the US and have permanent work authorization (Green Card)

Salary: $96K–$130K total annual compensation

What you will do

• Maintain network and network security infrastructure across the Americas region.
• Provide operational lifecycle and project-based support for Americas infrastructure.
• Participate in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support model with EMEA and Asia-Pacific infrastructure teams.
• Create and maintain SOPs, reference standards, architecture diagrams, and supporting documentation.
• Automate operational activities and transition suitable procedures to Level 1 support through documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Resolve incidents, problems, service requests, and infrastructure changes according to ITSM standards while improving availability, performance, and risk posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of 24/7 production infrastructure operations experience, including on-call support.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering and architecting LAN/WAN switching and routing, including VRF, EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, HSRP, and LACP.
• Experience with Cisco or Arista switches and routers, Aruba Edge Connect/Silver Peak SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
• Hands-on experience using Ansible playbooks for network configuration and deployment automation, plus working knowledge of IPAM, Git, Python, Linux, and ServiceNow.
• Must reside in the US and hold permanent US work authorization through a Green Card. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and IT service management skills are required.
