Engineering Project Manager

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, USA; remote work may also be considered. Some travel to US sites is required.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and a U.S.-based benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead design teams and manage project schedules, budgets, technical scope, and risk.
• Review project requirements, clarify gaps or conflicts, and plan activities, costs, and timelines.
• Coordinate proposals, project launches, performance baselines, client communication, and project meetings.
• Manage deliverables to ensure complete, timely, and high-quality work within budget.
• Control scope changes, coordinate internal cross-discipline work, and communicate project status to leadership.
• Close out design projects, complete documentation, and track lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5–7 years of technical experience in an engineering or construction environment and at least 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience with critical path management, negotiation, cost control and estimating, risk management, contract management, and communication.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management reporting and invoicing.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Current US passport, valid unrestricted driver's license, US citizenship, and an active, interim, or obtainable Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as IAPM or PMP.
• Experience with Department of War or aerospace projects.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, SharePoint, SpecsIntact, RSMeans, CAD, Revit, and Creo.
