Construction Project Executive

Location: Southfield, Michigan, with 2–3 days per week at client sites in the region, regional travel, and occasional overnight travel of up to 25%. Candidates must reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate for the opportunity. The role follows a principally in-person Workplace for Your Day model.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year in the stated compensation regions.

What you will do

• Plan project logistics, vendor contracting strategies, team responsibilities, and overall project structures with clients.
• Lead multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously.
• Manage vendors, procure construction services, and monitor compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate client engagement and facilitate project decision-making.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, risks, and issue resolution, including AHJ requirements and design or engineering management.
• Lead team development through mentoring, coaching, and performance support.

Requirements

• Engineering, architecture, or construction management degree from an accredited college or university.
• 15+ years of experience in development, owner’s representation, design, or construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.
• Experience with an owner’s facility team or consulting is preferred; construction cost estimating experience is desirable.
• Must reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
