Senior Business Analyst / Lead Business Analyst (Azure DevOps)

Location: Lansing, Michigan; onsite three days per week

What you will do

• Facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
• Model current-state and future-state processes, workflows, business rules, exceptions, and system interactions.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine epics, features, user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate UAT, including scenarios, execution tracking, defects, acceptance decisions, and release readiness.
• Develop training plans, job aids, process documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Maintain requirements traceability, project documentation, repositories, dashboards, queries, and governance artifacts.

Requirements

• 8+ years gathering requirements from users and business stakeholders.
• 6+ years designing and documenting technical and business requirements.
• 4+ years working with Agile/Scrum methodologies, processes, and ceremonies.
• 3+ years maintaining Azure DevOps epics, features, user stories, tasks, Kanban boards, and Sprint boards.
• Current CBAP certification.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, communication, documentation, requirements-management, and enterprise implementation experience.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Product Owners and coordinating UAT plans, scenarios, and business-validation strategies.
• Experience creating training materials, job aids, and operational-readiness documentation.
• Experience with current-state and future-state process documentation and process-modeling tools such as Bizagi.
• Experience with government, healthcare, financial-services, or large-scale enterprise-system implementations.
• Experience documenting complex integrations, data flows, and requirements traceability.
