Senior Business Analyst (Salesforce)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work with regular Austin office attendance, partial remote work, and some initial travel to hirify.global facilities or project kickoffs.

What you will do

• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and playback sessions to identify business goals, pain points, rules, data needs, and success measures.
• Translate business outcomes into prioritized Agile epics, features, user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and release plans.
• Define Salesforce-enabled solutions across Sales, Service, Field Service, legal/contract, and related business functions.
• Coordinate test scenarios, user acceptance testing, issue triage, business sign-off, and release readiness with QA, testers, and business users.
• Document current- and future-state processes, workflows, data requirements, technical specifications, procedures, and user enablement materials.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage backlog traceability, collaborate with product owners and delivery teams, and use approved generative AI tools to improve analysis and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including stakeholder discovery, solution recommendations, and actionable user stories.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including backlog refinement, sprint cycles, acceptance criteria, and release processes.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing epics, user stories, backlogs, workflows, and reporting in Jira or similar tools.
• Demonstrated Salesforce business analysis experience, including Salesforce objects, data model, configuration, automation, reporting, security and sharing, integrations, and delivery lifecycle.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, legal/contract workflows, or Experience Cloud.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft, APIs, integrations, and system-to-system data flows.
• Experience supporting AI or machine learning initiatives and using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Experience with Confluence, Lucidchart, Gearset, or similar documentation and Salesforce DevOps tools.
