Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with 2 days on-site per week at a Pennsylvania office, including Wednesdays, and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements, processes, workflows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain requirements traceability across solution decisions, validation activities, defects, changes, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Develop and coordinate UAT and other business validation activities, including scenarios, test cases, execution, results tracking, and defect management.
• Perform current-state and future-state process analysis, gap analysis, impact assessments, and workflow analysis for technology initiatives.
• Support release readiness, application upgrades, system migrations, production cutovers, and operational adoption through communications, documentation, job aids, and training materials.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, architects, technical teams, vendors, and other project partners.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience creating structured requirements, process documentation, business rules, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with gap, impact, dependency, and process analysis, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and risk-identification skills.
• Ability to independently manage competing priorities and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, release readiness, production cutovers, or post-implementation activities.
• Experience coordinating UAT, requirements-based testing, regression validation, defect management, traceability, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable project and test-management tools.
• Experience with regulatory, compliance, public-sector, operational, or internally developed technology environments.
• Experience producing business and technical documentation for diverse audiences.
