Workday Configuration Analyst (Workday)

Location: Remote within the United States, or from hirify.global's corporate offices in Newport News, Virginia. East Coast working hours, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Pay range: $5,608.34–$8,975.00 per month for salaried roles; bonus or incentive plan eligible.

What you will do

• Design, configure, maintain, and govern Workday business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, security, notifications, and tenant configurations.
• Consult with HR business partners and stakeholders on Workday functionality, configuration decisions, and process design.
• Lead configuration, testing, validation, release, enhancement, and module implementation activities.
• Resolve complex issues escalated from the support team and coordinate with external vendors or consultants.
• Create HR reports and dashboards, perform data audits, and maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Document workflows and procedures while partnering with HR and IT teams on requirements and process improvements.

Requirements

• Direct Workday configuration experience in an analyst or configuration role within a large organization.
• Hands-on configuration experience in one or more areas including Absence, Time Tracking, or Payroll.
• Experience with business processes, condition rules, notifications, reports, calculated fields, and security.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions while managing concurrent projects and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools; a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Workday Payroll experience supporting Canada.
• Experience supporting a large, distributed, or multi-state organization.
