Workday Functional Consultant

Location: The Acre, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom — hybrid working with 1 day per month in the office

Salary: £51,600–£64,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support and administration across the global Workday platform.
• Configure and maintain Workday modules, business processes, calculated fields, EIBs, custom reports, and condition rules.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term system improvements.
• Deliver change requests from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Assess and test Workday bi-annual releases and identify technical and process impacts.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, security, reporting accuracy, and downstream integrations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a Workday Functional role.
• Experience with at least one Workday module: Recruiting, Learning, or Compensation.
• Strong experience configuring Workday Business Processes and understanding Workday data structures, business objects, and reporting frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of downstream integration behaviours, data flows, and configuration impacts on connected systems.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Security or Integrations.
