Senior Network System Engineer (Aruba/Juniper)

Location: Must reside in Western North Carolina and travel to customer sites at least five days per week; occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Salary: USD 146,000–343,000 annual salary in North Carolina, including base and target-level sales compensation.

What you will do

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for customers, prospects, partners, and sales teams in the assigned territory.
• Design tailored combinations of networking hardware, software, and services for complex customer requirements.
• Develop bids, proposals, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical specifications.
• Build proofs of concept and rapid prototypes to validate solution feasibility.
• Deliver technical presentations and consultative guidance while managing account relationships, partner activity, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
• Support campus and distributed branch networking solutions across routing, switching, wireless, security, and access control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, with experience supporting pre-sales activities.
• Extensive knowledge of Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking.
• Experience with routing and switching technologies, network security, and NAC platforms such as ClearPass, ISE, Cloud NAC, or Juniper Access Assurance.
• Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and conducting pre- and post-deployment wireless site surveys.
• Ability to design and manage solutions for complex technical issues and communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Must reside in Western North Carolina and be available for frequent customer-site travel.
