Product Strategy Leader - Enterprise Wireless (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week from an HPE office in the United States; salary location listed as California

Salary: USD 194,000–412,500 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for AI-native, self-driving wireless networking capabilities.
• Engage enterprise customers, partners, and field teams to identify operational challenges and translate insights into scalable product enhancements.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define requirements and deliver technical products for enterprise WLAN environments.
• Use packet captures, client connectivity data, RF analytics, telemetry, and operational monitoring to inform product decisions.
• Define predictive insights, automated root-cause analysis, anomaly detection, intelligent recommendations, and automated remediation workflows.
• Align Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Go-to-Market stakeholders around customer value, feasibility, and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Network Engineering, Technical Product Leadership, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in enterprise WLAN technologies and wireless networking architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-managed networking platforms, network operations, observability, telemetry, analytics, and operational monitoring.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex networking environments and working directly with engineering teams to deliver technical products.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills in collaborative environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native networking platforms, AI-driven operations, AIOps, network assurance, or autonomous networking.
• Knowledge of RF design, wireless optimization, packet analysis, and network diagnostics.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, large-scale cloud services, and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with enterprise campus, branch, and cloud-managed wireless environments.
