Technical Software Product Manager (On-Device AI)

Salary: $116,150–$182,400 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States candidates.

What you will do

• Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for a desktop optimization suite.
• Translate silicon telemetry into actionable dashboards and design workflows for automated AI tuning and manual controls.
• Define and integrate on-device AI agents that analyze user behavior, system telemetry, and application usage in real time.
• Write product requirements for local machine learning models and specify reinforcement learning rewards and agent triggers.
• Prioritize telemetry pipeline backlogs and collaborate with QA to validate battery-saving and device performance metrics.
• Manage privacy guardrails for local profiling and behavioral analytics while minimizing CPU, GPU, NPU, and DRAM usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience shipping consumer or enterprise desktop software products.
• Experience with Windows applications, device management software, user productivity tools, or system utilities.
• Practical experience deploying on-device machine learning models, AI agents, or small language models.
• Understanding of operating systems, application lifecycle management, telemetry systems, and device management concepts.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with OEM firmware, driver APIs, or device management services.
• Experience with cross-platform desktop frameworks or native Windows desktop development.
• Experience with DirectML, ONNX Runtime, Windows AI Foundry, or Windows Copilot Runtime.
• Background in AI-enhanced productivity, device management, system insight, or workflow optimization tools.
• Strong user-centered design and data-driven product decision-making skills.
