Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Biotechnology)

Location: New York, NY, United States; on-site presence in the NYC offices required at least 2 days per week

Salary: $125,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop financial plans aligned with strategic goals by collaborating with business owners across the organization.
• Manage company forecasts and cash runway models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Review contracts and assess their impact on forecasts and cash runway.
• Incorporate month-end actuals and perform budget-to-actuals variance analysis.
• Build operating and valuation models for new business development opportunities and support due diligence and transaction execution.
• Prepare Board presentations, supporting materials, forecast updates, and variance communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in financial planning or accounting.
• Strong forecasting, financial accounting, analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is required; CPA certification is required.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office Suite skills; ability to present to senior-level management.
• Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with NetSuite.
