Salary: $116,750–$144,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do
- Partner with budget owners across the CSO, CTO, and COO organizations to align financial plans with strategic goals.
- Prepare detailed variance analyses against prior forecasts and approved budgets.
- Develop scenario-driven financial models for Institute Initiatives, scientific programs, and capital expenditures.
- Support the annual operating budget, long-range strategic plans, and forecasts for research labs and operational units.
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting automation, and financial system utilization, including NetSuite and Prendio.
- Support strategic vendor negotiations aimed at reducing operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3–7 years of experience in a demanding finance or analytical role.
- Experience leading corporate FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- 2–3 years as an Investment Banking Analyst or experience in a major consulting firm program, with deep exposure to financial analysis and rigorous modeling.
- Exceptional spreadsheet skills, including advanced modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and chart visualizations.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Educational or professional experience in biosciences, biotechnology, or related fields.
- Experience with financial planning systems such as NetSuite Planning or Adaptive Planning.
