Software QA Manager

Location: Hybrid role in Duluth, Georgia, with two days in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance across web, mobile, API, mainframe, and database systems.
• Define and implement QA strategies supporting cloud migrations, mobile framework upgrades, re-platforming, and legacy-system stability.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, performance, compliance, and UAT testing.
• Develop quality KPIs, KRIs, traceability standards, automation coverage metrics, and continuous-improvement processes.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and QA activities for large, complex projects.
• Supervise and mentor SQA engineers, including performance management, staffing, employee relations, and compensation responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, information technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive QA experience in enterprise-scale environments and 5+ years in QA management.
• Hands-on experience testing web, mainframe, mobile devices and emulators, APIs, databases, and cloud-based test platforms.
• Experience with test case design, execution, documentation, test protocols, and multiple testing methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, ALM, or equivalent test and defect management tools, plus SOAP and REST API testing with Postman or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, hybrid delivery models, and compliance testing in regulated domains.
