Senior Engineering Program Manager (Product Lifecycle)

Location: Onsite at an hirify.global office in the United States; preferred locations are San Jose, California; Andover, Massachusetts; Fort Collins, Colorado; Roseville, California; or Spring, Texas. The role is expected to be performed onsite at least 2 days per week, with possible consideration of other US locations.

Salary: Annual base salary of $111,000–$211,000 in Colorado, $120,000–$228,000 in Massachusetts, $120,000–$243,000 in California, or $105,500–$243,000 in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Own complex engineering and Product Lifecycle Management programs from concept through product release, sustaining, and end-of-life.
• Build and manage integrated schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and supporting deliverables.
• Coordinate execution across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, internal development teams, and external partners.
• Track progress and execution metrics, manage risks and dependencies, and develop recovery plans for delayed milestones.
• Present program status, risks, mitigation strategies, escalations, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, technology and tool integration, quality initiatives, and mentoring for less-experienced team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of program, project, engineering program, or technical program management experience.
• 5+ years working in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models.
• 5+ years owning product release execution and coordinating cross-functional engineering programs.
• 4+ years using formal governance, managing risks and dependencies, owning integrated schedules, and executing recovery plans.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Jira and Smartsheet for tracking, scheduling, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; mastery of English and the local language.

Nice to have

• PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
